Shop Assistant

Become part of the world of premium gastronomy in the exclusive setting of the House of Julius Meinl Gourmet Shop, located in the very heart of Prague. We are looking for  a reliable and presentable colleague to join our team in the position of Shop Assistant.

 

Job Description
  • Providing professional customer service in the gourmet shop

  • Selling premium food products and delicacies

  • Maintaining the appearance of the shop and product displays

  • Operating the cash register

 

Job Requirements
  • Pleasant and professional demeanour

  • Customer-oriented approach

  • Reliability and attention to detail

  • Willingness to work both morning and afternoon shifts

  • Previous experience in retail or gastronomy is an advantage (not required)

  • Basic knowledge of English

Housekeeping Supervisor

We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Housekeeping Supervisor who has previous experience in hotel operations, understands the day-to-day running of the department, and is able to take real responsibility for quality, organisation, and team management.

 

Job Responsibilities
  • Independently preparing schedules and materials for housekeeping shifts, including planning and optimising staff rosters

  • Daily operational management of the housekeeping department

  • Ensuring and controlling cleaning quality in line with hotel standards

  • Handling operational issues, guest complaints, and non-standard requests

  • Managing linen inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring consumption

  • Training new employees, ongoing performance evaluation, and team support

  • Close cooperation with other hotel departments

  • Active collaboration with the Housekeeping Manager to improve processes and operational efficiency

 

 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role within hotel operations or cleaning services management

  • Experience in team leadership and work organisation

  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to make independent decisions and handle operational situations

  • Responsibility, reliability, and professional appearance

  • Willingness to work in a dynamic hotel environment
