Assistant of Front Office Manager Prague
Job Requirements
You must be passionate about guest service, have a previous experience in the similar role and have
outstanding interpersonal skills with an energetic and vibrant personality. You must have excellent
communication skills, be fluent in English and Czech.
- 2 Years Hospitality Industry experience at senior level.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Reception operations
- As appropriate deputy head of Front Office to be able develop and motivate file staff, whilst
maintaining the ability to recognize individual receptionists and their contribution to the team
effort.
- Must have a very high energy level and able to think “OUTSIDE THE BOX”.
- Will act as an ambassador for the hotel in the local community, as well as with
internal/external customers.
- Will be highly visible and accessible.
- Intermediate computer literacy.
- Available to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- To assist the Front Office Manager in implementing and maintaining Quality Standards
throughout the Front of House Department.
- To perform supervision of the Front of House Department in the absence of the Front Office
Manager, ensuring consistency in service delivery according to our guest expectations.
- Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and make time to engage with guests. Respond
appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuous
improvement in guest satisfaction.
- Conduct routine inspections of the front office and public areas and take immediate actions to
correct any deficiencies.
- Oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports.
- Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure
all transactions are handled in a secure manner.
- To assist Front Office Manager to provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to
improve team member performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
- To assist the Front Office Manager to implement and maintain all control standards, policies
and procedures established by the hotel.
- To support the accounts department by responding accurately and efficiently with all queries
relating to Front Office.
